Head of Strategy & Operations in tech → Fractional leader & entrepreneur

I built the profitable growth engine that turned DiDi Mexico into the ride-hailing market leader and DiDi's first profitable market outside China. I later scaled it across Spanish-speaking Latam.

How can I help you?

Jonas Niño

Hi, I'm Jonas 👋

I've always loved learning and solving problems. I began my career in data science and consulting before moving into tech at Uber as a strategy and operations manager. I was reliable, I went the extra mile. None of it saved me from a pandemic layoff.

In 2021, I joined DiDi. That's where I understood something that skyrocketed my career: the more money you make the business, and the clearer that contribution is, the more you grow.

I built the growth engine that made DiDi Mexico the ride-hailing market leader and DiDi's first profitable market outside China, earned the highest performance rating in the company, and became Head of Strategy and Operations with direct ownership of the P&L. Later, I scaled what I built across Latam.

Today, I teach tech leaders how to create impact and communicate it to gain influence and grow as strategic leaders. I also help companies increase their profits as a fractional leader in strategy, revenue, and growth.

Fun fact: I've been a gamer my whole life, so much that I built my own gamified personal operating system. I think the engagement games create holds a lot of lessons for business, plus everything is better when you enjoy it.
